Legal Question in Disability Law in Louisiana
I have a daughter who is on SSI and the government wants to take away her benifites because I got married. Why do I have do use his income? He does not contribute to her upbringing. Is there a law that states --- Spouces are responsible for the all children?

Your husband took you for better or for worse. The WORLD assumes you love and would love to support your daughter and therefore when your husband married you, he wanted what you wanted. Therefore, his income is assigned some percentage to you. Why would you want someone in New Mexico to have to support YOUR daughter. Why wouldn't your and your new husband take on that responsibility? The taxpayer did not berth your daughter.
