Legal Question in Disability Law in Louisiana

I am a divorced mother of 2 minor children. I am currently serving in the Air Force. I have recieved orders to move to Germany and my children will need passports. In my divorce I was granted sole custody and my ex husband has been granted resonable visitation. My decree doesn't state if it's sole legal or sole physical custody. Will I be able to obtain a passport without my ex husbands consent? I know he will not consent to it. Also what can I do if he does not consent? Even though he lives less than 8 hours away he has only come to see his kids two times in the last four years. He will not consent just to give me a hard time even though he has shown no real intrest in seeing our kids.

The judgment giving you sole custody should be sufficient. If not, you will have to return to court to have court order your move.
