Get to an attorney who specializes in admiralty/longshore harbor worker's law in your area. I am sure how many there are in Alexandria but we do alot of that work down here in Lake Charles. You should receive your M & C timely assuming you qualify. As a rig worker you have a right to sue and should worry about SS after you have settled your lawsuit. Let an attorney evaluate your situation, including being fired and I assure you if you have a claim, they will file suit for you.
