Legal Question in Banking Law in Louisiana
Bad checks written
Brother-in-law in business, checks bounced at suppliers, 1 supplier sent letter to DA office already, can brother-in-law call DAs office to make payment arrangements without being considered a felony, when is he considered felon...doesn't want this to happen.

DA is not going to do squat unless the numbers are huge and there is intent to defraud. Bad checks on an active account won't trigger criminal charges (it happens all the time).
