Legal Question in Banking Law in Louisiana

Checks got stolen from me and bad checks werewritte in my name. I closed my checking account,also i pressed charges for theft and forgery. I got affidavits and sent it to the police department. I also notified all the places by phone that they were forged checks. My question : what else is my duty, am i responsible for sending all the affidavits and the police report to businesses where my checks were forged?

Your duty was to inform your bank and the police. You must press charges against the person who stole the checks and forged your name. You must cooperate with the prosecution of that person.
