Legal Question in Banking Law in Louisiana
My ex-husband did not change his banking information and a check has been deposited into my account (former joint account). Is the money legally mine? He signed off that he has no claims to the account in our community property settlement.

Unless the money is part of the community or payment of spousal support, it is not your monies but funds misapplied by bank and should be rectified.
