if my wife and file chapter 7 will it do away with my dept and my wife's including her student loan?

As a general rule student loans are not dischargeable in bankruptcy. Additionally, some other debts may not be dischargeable in bankruptcy. You would do well to consult an attorney to discuss whether your particular debts will be discharged. Good Luck.
