Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Louisiana
Judgement
My X & I have a joint credit card with me as primary. There is a judgement against me on it. If I sign a letter from the credit card company accepting full responsibility on it (which will remove his name from the account) can I still file it on my bankruptcy?

Re: Judgement
Yes, but if its a community obligation, they can probably go after him, but that's up to the credit card co. You can list this debt in a Ch. 7 and be discharged.
