Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Louisiana
I am in the process of filing bankruptcy but my 1st appointment with the attorney is next week. I have a civil citation that has been handed to me for an unpaid credit card that is due to be signed and turned in at the courthouse this week. It has three choices for me to select: I do owe this amount, I do not owe this amount, and I owe a different amount. Since I do owe the amount do I go ahead and sign this and turn it in to the courthouse now, even though I am filing bankruptcy on it? Thanks,
Doug Young
