Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Louisiana
Tax Refund after bankruptcy
My husband and I recently filed chapter 7 bankruptcy. In the past we have always filed seperate income tax returns. Some people say their tax return was taken after filing bankrupty and other say it was not. I was wondering if my husband and I should continue to file seperate or file as married since we filed bankruptcy married?

Since you already filed, it won't make any difference in the future. I recommend you follow your accountant's advice as to which is better for the two of you.
