Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Louisiana

Violation of bankruptcy law

I'm in a chapter 13 to save my home from forceclure and a company finally might be able to assist me in getting my home refinance to include pulling me out of the chapter 13. What happens if i go threw the refinancing process and go to closing and get proceeds i need to pay my creditors off that cause me to be in a chapter 13,without the judges approval what could happen to me for not following the bankruptcy law with their approval first. But the proceeds is enough to pay my creditors off, that cause me to be in bankruptcy.

Re: Violation of bankruptcy law

You would have to apply to the bankruptcy court for approval to borrow the money, so naturally your trustee would have to approve of this loan. I don't believe that you would find anybody to loan you any money without bankruptcy court approval as, I think, their loan would be disregarded by the court and unenforceable at law. You need to consult the attorney handling your bankruptcy.
