Legal Question in Business Law in Louisiana
Im on the administrative team for a web based community, and for a variety of reasons, we are about to incorporate the community as an LLC. Weve decided to pay to have the filings done by someone with better knowledge of the paperwork than ourselves, and are also paying for a registered agent in the state of Louisiana with the websites administrative team listed as contacts. In order to incorporate, we need someone with a physical address in Louisiana, not a PO Box. It is my understanding that the registered agent will hold the needed physical address. Is this correct, or does a member of the websites team (the contacts) need to hold a physical address within the state? Our contact in Louisiana is currently operating out of a PO Box, so we wanted to make sure we understood correctly before beginning the process.
