Legal Question in Business Law in Louisiana
Do I have A case
My wife, and I owned, and operated a restaurant, and bar from 10/2004-7/2005 in Napoleonville,La. we decided to move back to Dallas,Tx. due to the buisiness not making the proper funds to keep it running. So in turn a relative of mine ask me to turn it over to him he said he would be sending me something every month but never received anything except a few hundreds we charged him for some equipment that we left behind. The place is still being operated under The Corner's name, when the person I turned it over to went to trade mark the name he was dissapointed because his name could not be the primary name because he was not the original owner my wife's name had to be the primary name on the paper work.Do I have a case to file suit on this person?
