Legal Question in Business Law in Louisiana
I was contracted to do home repairs which included the cost of labor, materials & supplies. The homeowner will not release balance owed because he wants the receits for materials. He said it is his right to claim the expense instead of me. would you please give understanding/statement to this matter.

He does not have right to claim expenses if he did not supply them. He may be entitled to copies depending on contract provisions.
