Legal Question in Business Law in Louisiana
Corporation vs LLC
I am ready to incorporate my company and am debating between a straight corporation or a LLC. The company is a grocery store with multiple locations. Yearly sales are projected over 50 million a year. I would like to go public at some point. I am the only incorporator I have no partners. I will be on the payroll and would not like to pass through 50 million in sales and about 2 million in profit through my personal taxes. I also do not want personal liability on claims but would like to get financing in the future to expand the business. Should I do a regular corporation or a LLC.

Re: Corporation vs LLC
I suggest you run this by your CPA, but my opinion is you incorporate.
