DBA filing

If I plan on using my last name with my business title as part of my website. Would I need to file a dba?

It would depend on how you use them and what business you're in. Generally, you need to file a d.b.a. for a name you intend to go by with your customer/clients. Let me know if you want help getting off on the right foot, I focus on eCommerce.
