Legal Question in Business Law in Louisiana
Electrical Contracting Business
Electrical contractor had his own business for many years then went to work as an employee at another co. He brought his customer base with him and acquired more customers. If he leaves and goes back to his own business what are his legal rights as far as the customer base? No documents such as a non-compte clause were ever signed. Thanks

Re: Electrical Contracting Business
If no "non-compete" was signed, then you can do just about what you want. You cannot steal your employer's "list of contacts" however.
