future husband may be sued after marriage
My future husband own's his own business but most likely will be sued after we are married for something that happened before our marriage. Will they go after both of us since we are married? (I have nothing to do with his business.) Can they take items that are just in my name ,because I own everything.

First, you should go over all the facts/assets with an attorney to protect your assets as much as possible. When you marry, you can waive the community property regieme, but you should consult an attorney regarding the effects before you do it. Don't mix your money or other assets in the same account or have joint accounts.
