Legal Question in Business Law in Louisiana

currently ihave a EIN number active but i would like to start an online Network with a different name other than my Current existing business name is that illegal? or is it Ok if Im Licensed already and just wanna operate it under my EIN number

Yes. The new name will be a trade name or "dba" (doing business as) of the existing corp or llc. Call it ABC, LLC d/b/a XYZ.
