Legal Question in Business Law in Louisiana
I live in Louisiana and I have a personal gaurentee with someone who bought my share of stock in a company. He did not forfull his agreement and with payment or a promise to get me off of loans from the bank. Recently we agreed he would pay me a smaller amount than the actual loan by him giving me a series of checks to cash monthy. He has paid a few then defaulted on that as well. Could I ask for the original amount on the agreement since he has failed to pay and could i include court cost?

You can sue him for the purchase price agreed upon. You may have criminal charges against him also.
