What can I do if I purchased a car from a car dealer that said nothing was wrong with it and the car has died and can no longer work?

If the car had a defect that was unknown but existed at the time of the sale, you may be able to rescind the sale under the law of redhibition. If the defect manifested itself within 3 days of the sale, there is a presumption that it existed prior to the sale.
