Legal Question in Business Law in Louisiana
I started a corporation in February of 2010 in Louisiana. It is not active anymore but I have not filed for bankruptcy. Currently I am being sued by one of the creditors. They are attempting to garnish my wages and take my valuable assets. I thought if you had a corporation they could not come after your personal assets. Please correct me if I am wrong.

The corporation must be active for you to claim corporate entity protection.
