Legal Question in Business Law in Louisiana
Trademark
Me and my partner currently own a clothing line Jeanisis Clothing LLC. We orginated this name for over five years but due to the military obligations and college we were not able to reach the masses and amass great wealth. We trademarked the name legally with the state of Louisiana and nation wide. We found out that a guy has been using our name for a few years now selling women jeans. Our income is very little and this guy is real wealthy designer to the stars and we want to know what steps to take to end this problem. We know we can suponea his accounts and other things. We need the correct steps to take. Most people say that with the wealth he has he will not want to let us have the name. Please point us in the right direction.
Thanks

Re: Trademark
If you did the trademark correctly, then you should have a claim. However, get an attorney and let him check out your legal documents as well as your LLC paperwork and the other Jeans seller's business and then take his advice.
