atv wreck
my daughter and my son went to my sisters house. my sister left her 2 kids and mine with a male friend. my daughter was driving her 4 wheeler with 5 kids total on it. they flipped the 4 wheeler. are we responsible for the damages? we didnt even know she was driving it let alone riding it. she is only 10 yrs. old

That case sounds like a mess. Certainly, whatever adult was present and allowed the children to go off on the ATV holds much (if not all) of the responsibility. There could be some theory of the case where you could be brought in as well, but it is difficult to say without knowing a lot more about the situation. Some could even argue that you could be partially at fault just for giving a motorized vehicle to a 10 year old. She is likely too young to be operating a motorized vehicle.
