civil lawsuit
We live in Louisiana. 2 guys came into my son's house while he was asleep tortured him. Can we file a civil lawsuit on his dad's homeowner's insurance because the accused still lived with their parents.

First of all, are they over 18? If 17 or younger, you can sue the parents. Your problem is the homeowners policy probably excludes intentional and/or criminal acts.

No. Among other reasons, insurance does not cover intentional acts.
