Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Louisiana

Discrimination

My daughter was trying to get a table in a local restaurant. Nationwide franchise rest. to be exact. She is 6 months pregnant. She asked to be seated and they asked if she wanted to seat herself of wait to be seated in dining. She expressed a booth in the dining area. She was told by the hostess that she was too fat for the booth. My daughter was mortified and began crying. Her husband told them what he thought and they left. They returned today to get names of everyone involved so they could complain to the management. Was she discriminated in anyway. Public embarrsement was enough but were any lines crossed here? Just checking. Thanks

I guess the worker was insensitive to say the least. I do not think discrimination is the question. You could probably get the worker fired and maybe you can file a suit against the chain. I guess.
