Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Louisiana

My ex-husbands ex-girlfriend has on more than one occasion verbally abused my daughters, ages 6 and 10. She calls them names, throws flower pots at them and says the most hateful things to them b/c she's mad at their dad. Do I have any legal recourse top ensure she stays away from my children? My ex husband and the girlfriend are broken up for good and she has pressed charges on him for domestic abuse and battery. We live in a very small town and her children go the same school as mine. She has in the past approached my children at school when she feels guilty about what she's said to them. I just want her to stay away from my daughters forever. She's never physically abused them, but the verbal abuse is crushing their spirits b/c she's always told them how much she loves them and then she does and says these horrible things when she's angry. Do I have any hopes of keeping her away from my daughters for good?
