Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Louisiana

house note

my wife and I are in the end stages of divorce. when I left the house I quit paying on the house note (while paying child support) and she made the entire house note payment for several months. I was told that because she had sole use of the community property and I had none that she should pay the house note 100% even though the debt is half mine, due to rental reimbursement. had we both vacated the house I could have rented the house and lost that income to her as she remained in the house. She is now claiming that I owe her for half of the house notes that have been paid and deny's that rental reibursement argument is invalid. Is this the case?

Re: house note

I believe I may have been one who answered the same question by your wife. Yes, under the facts she presented, and also those in your question, you owe her your share of the note.
