Is it illegal to take a picture of the back of someone and post it online without their consent.

Depends on the circumstances of where the picture was taken, why it was taken, the purpose of taking it and other factors. If I take a picture of my high school team scoring a touchdown and put it online, then everyone in the picture will be shown. Is it legal? Of course it is.
