Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Louisiana
Ok i live in calcasieu parish and have a dog that has been attacked several times by my neighbors dogs and the vet bills keep adding up. the 1st time was several years back and my dog followed my daughter next door and the neighbors dogs attacked our dog almost ripping her apart. we did not call animal control. then in feb of the year i let my dog out the back door to potty kids watching her and the neighbors dogs came in my yard and attacked her vet gave meds and stitches several wounds not even 2 months later my husband waws walking to put the trash to road and neighr watched her dog come in my yard and attack my dog again. their is a leash law and neoither dog was on one but my husband was with the dogis she responsible for any of the vet bills and if so how much this last time i called animal control she admitted to him her dog attacked my dog twice and gave her dogs up willingly but then went to get them back. can i file a civil suit for any or all the attacks for her to pay vet bills her dogs have already killed one of our dogs and 2 of my inlaws

The detract attorney can have the dog declared vicious or dangerous and restitution can be ordered. Of course, you can also proceed civilly.
