Provoking teachers

Can I file suit against a teacher or school for verbally in class in front of everyone telling my 15 year old son to stop acting retarded i have a problem with derogatory statements she even wrote that on his disipline paper

by the way his IQ is 128-131

The answer is yes. If you just want to stop this defaming of your child, you might want to inform the school board member and/or the principal of what's going on, or even tell the teacher you are considering filing a civil damage suit against her.
