Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Louisiana
I have a questions. I live in ST Tammany Parish in Slidell LA.. I am currently going threw a program they have over here called DWI court. I'm in it because I picked up my 3 DWI. My problem is I was a bartender and the judge told me I couldn't work as a bartender anymore while I am in the program. The program is 1 1/2 years long. Bartending was the way I make my living and was how I was going to pay for my schooling. Now due to the judge I am unemployed with this horrible economy. I have know way of paying any of my bills and I can't find a job anywhere.. Can the court do? Is this unconstitutional.. Is there anything that can be done

You agreed to participate in DWI court instead of serving 5+ years. There are particular rules for each DWI or Drug court and you agree to abide by them. You can choose to not participate in the program and serve the sentence instead.
