Unfair referral?

I was turned down for a job because my former employer says I was a drinker altho I never drank on the job. I had passed all the former employers polygraph annd drug tests. Do I have legal recourse?

If the former employer lied about your drinking and that lie was the reason you were not hired, then you may have a cause of action against the former employer. You should seek the advice of an employment law attorney in your parish.
