Legal Question in Consumer Law in Louisiana
auto financing
I am in the National Guard, and bought a new truck. The papers have been signed and I have been driving the truck for one week. The financing co. now says that they do not finance for National Guard members, only Army, and they are asking for the vehicle to be returned to the dealership. Can they do this since they have already given me posession of the vehicle?

Re: auto financing
They probably can. Your possession of the vehicle is probably contingent upon your being approved for financing, and since you have not been approved, you have a choice of returning the vehicle or arranging other financing.
