Legal Question in Consumer Law in Louisiana
Is it illegal for me to respond to an email and accept money that I get from someone I don't know who says they'd like to share inheritance with me or that I won a lottery and I need to send my personal information to them. I'm wondering if it's actually illegal to accept the money if I don't know if the money was ever handled illegally abroad, from where it comes.
