Legal Question in Consumer Law in Louisiana

Louisiana lemon law

I purchased a new vehicle 5/19/2003.I have a 6 year 100,000 mile warranty. The vehicle left me stranded on 6/23/2003.I had the vehicle towed to the dealer on 6/24/2003.They said the problem was a module that controlled everything electrically.I was told that there were no parts like that available for two weeks.I called the manufacturer and they told me the eta for the part was 7/28/2003.As of today my car has been in the shop at the dealer for 9 days. The eta of the part is 26 days from now.The dealer did furnish me a loaner car three days after my car was in his shop. It would seem to me that this would be covered undet the La. Lemon Law since it would be in the repair shop unusuable for that period of time after only 36 days of use and 879 miles. What can I do ? Please advise. Thanks!

Re: Louisiana lemon law

Quite frankly I would think the dealer would exchange a new car for your LEMON........but I do not know him........go talk to him and you may be surprised......if he refuses, speak with an attorney.......
