Legal Question in Consumer Law in Louisiana
Purchased new truck my down payment was contigent on me selling a tractor that was 6 weeks ago tractor still has not sold and now dealership is suing me for down payment do I have any recourse.

If the sale was trule contingent on the sale of your tractor, that is a suspensive condition and the contract is not valid or in effect until that suspensive condition (the sale of the tractor) takes place. That assumes that the sale of your tractor was actually stated as a condition of the contract.
