Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana
after 2 years of moving out of a gov't subsidies apt. complex which I paid full price for they have notified me of over $645.00 of damages they claim I owe. what should I do.

They should not be able to sue you if the suit is for damages and it has been over two years. If they are suing for based on a violation of contract, they can sue. If they are suing on an open account, they can sue upmto three years from the date of the last payment. You should gather any evidence you have, pictures, written documents, etc., which will show tey were paid in full.
