Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

My 80 yr. old mother signed her home over to me about 2 years ago now. there are some credit card co. wanteing money from her & she doesn't have any. I was told they could take the house from me for her debt. Please tell me what is waht with this

If the house is in your name with the title properly transferred and filed with the clerk of court-it cannot be seized for her debt.
