Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

What should i do about a citation my 84 year old mom got from chase credit card wanting her to verify that she owes the amount stated and is the owner of the debt.She has Alzheimer for 8 years now and has no memory of this debt.

What kind of citation? A suit? If it is an amount that could financially hurt her, then get an attorney. Check for free lawyers for the elderly.
