Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

how do i collect a debt from a person that owes over $20,000 for plants i delivered . they did not give a check. they want answer the phone and i have sent a certified letter to them . all invoices are were due in january. i owe money to others for these plants too and dont have the money to afford a collections agency. barely making it now.

Hire an attorney to file suit. There is even a statute that will give you your attorney's fees back from the defendants.
