Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana
A lady with my same middle and last name used my address for loan. Now there is a tutrix lien against my home for her minor child when this lady never lived at my house. Apparently the creditor did not check her license to verify her address because she never lived at my address. Can they do that? Put a lien on my home for someone else withouth verifying that person actually lives there?

Of course not. Call the creditor and have them fix it. You can also call the police and file a comnplaint against the woman who stole your identity for fraud and identiy theft.
