Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

My mom took out a loan with southland finance. She hasn't paid. They are coming tomorrow to pick up items listed as collateral but she still gets harrassing phone calls from them. They told her they will take her to court, that she needs to take out another loan they're tired of playing games, etc. Will she still be responsible for the loan once collateral items are collected? Can they still take her to court? Are these phone calls within legal limits?

You can stop the phone calls by sending a certified letter to them telling them to contact only through mail. The only collateral they can take without filing suit are items purchased from them through installment payments. Legal services may be of help to her as they provide legal services to the elderly and persons with little income.
