Second Mortgages

I have a 2nd mortgage. I filed bankruptcy and it was brought current. However, after the BK was over, I never heard from the mortgage company directing me on where to send the payments or anything type of written directions. I had no contact and could not find out what actually happened to the mortage or any help. However, now they suddenly show up demanding money. What recourse do I have with these people?

Did you file a Chapter 7 or 13? If you filed a Ch. 7, did you reaffirm the mortgage?
