Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

what do you do if you owe a debt to a collection agency and you ar ready to pay it off because of its effect on your credit report but you cant contact them ? will not answer phone and web site down. im ready to settle this and build my credit back up since i have a good job.

Contact each of the three credit bureaus and dispute the bill attaching any evidence you have of the company no longer in business.
