Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

If I paid a lawyer 5 thousands to represent my son on felony and he has not been to court in the last three years and as far as we know the charge was not formally made, can I expect a refund for the fees I paid the attorney?

You should ask for an accounting from the attorney and for any refund that may be owed. The attorney should provide you with an itemized statement showing hourly charges, etc.
