Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

Ive been paying a jugdment, monthly and now their garnishing my paycheck i have paid out over $600 on a $1100 bill. there was never a deadline no one told me to pay it off at a certin time. the attorney told me to stick with the monthly payments of $75 and shook my hand in court but it was not stated in the judgment . what do i do??? is it right for them to garnish my pay checks and im paying ?

If they have a judgment they can garnish.
