Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

I was recently denied credit. I was informed with a generic letter sent via a mass email. I had access to all the other emails that were sent along with mine being available to all the others that were denied. Is that legal?

Sound like a mistake and the company is under an obligation to inform the persons of the mistake. You can contact the Consumer protection unit os the La attorney generals office if you feel the creditor is using unfair collection practices.
