Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana
I recently traded in a vehicle through a Toyota of Slidell in south Louisiana. The Toyota dealer contacted the vehicle (my trade in) lender to determine the pay off amount. This amount was used to determine the financing arrangement for a new vehicle. A deal was reached between me and the Toyota dealer. I received and email confirmation on 2/11/2011 from the lender relating to my trade stating that the vehicle was "...paid in full as of 2/7/2011..." On 2/26/2011, that same lender send me a bill for $833.00 for fees associated with a repossession that occured a month or two prior to the trade in. Do I owe $833.00.
Please provide answer if advice provide at no charge.

The repossession must be for a different vehicle. In that case, yes you do owe 833.00.
