Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

i had a repo in 2007, a few day ago someone rang the door beel and serve me some papers saying i was being sued for the repo $6,200. what should i do,should i even reply?

A creditor can sue you for monies owed for 3 years from date of last payment. Unless you were given a full release upon return of the vehicle, you are still liable for the debt. If the creditor already has a judgment against you then judgements are good for 10 years before they must be renewed.
